The Journal
HazardEx: The Journal provides the Hazardous Area marketplace with its own
dedicated publication. Launched in 2002 to coincide with the staging of the first HazardEx event, its editorial
ontent echoes the material presented in the Conference by focusing squarely on the issues affecting the safe
installation and operation of plant & equipment within potentially explosive atmospheres.
'The Journal' is aimed at Engineering Managers identified as having
operational responsibility for their company's Hazardous Areas. It is clearly 'sign-posted' for ease of use and
carries a mixture of industry news, legal & technical articles, new product items and application stories. Updates
on all the developments surrounding the ATEX Directives are also featured.
Supported by many of the leading organisations involved in this important sector of industry, and with a targeted
circulation of some 8,500 engineers, this specialist publication has become recognised as a unique and invaluable
source of Hazardous Area information.
