Extronics has launched the iSTART100 DoL motor starter. Certified for use in Zone 1/ 21 hazardous areas the Extronics iSTART100 is designed for applications requiring DoL (Direct on Line) starting of motors as well as being suitable for a wide range of industrial equipment.

Using the TeSys Model U motor starter range, from Schneider Electric, Extronics iSTART100’s can be produced quickly reducing lead times to days.

The starter can also be used to control equipment remotely by utilising an interface device equipped with a volt free contact.

Extronics iSTART100 can be used as a stand alone unit or it can be integrated into a larger machine control system. This is made possible by the use of the remote start/ stop function built in as standard.
