State-of-the-art LED technology for hazardous area zones 1/21 from Schuch

19 May 2016

The most conspicuous characteristic of the new ExeLed 1 from Adolf Schuch GmbH is the innovative encapsulation of the LED. It is thermally highly sturdy and has a high transmission factor for minimal loss of luminous flux. Sandwich construction of the cover and the reflector protects the LED against mechanical and electrostatic damage.

With luminous efficacy up to 142 lm/W and luminous flux up to 9,260 lm, the light fittings are highly efficient and powerful and can replace fluorescent tube fittings up to > 2x 58W.

Depending on type the light fittings are suitable for a wide temperature range from -30°C up to +55°C. Special Versions up to +70°C.

The frosted PC-cover offers an uniform illumination, an excellent glare limitation and comfortable light perception.

The ExeLed 1 is certified for explosion groups II C.

Versions with dim function via DALI interface as well as special type for dust ex-areas Zone 21 (version t868…) are also available.
