Hazardex 2017 Conference - How Mobile Technology has improved hazardous area inspections

Author : Steve Pearson - Phusion IM

04 November 2016

With the advent of mobile technology, the completion of IEC 60079-17 check sheets has been simplified and data re-use allows inspectors to focus on the actual inspection, thereby reducing the time necessary for completion of the sheets.

An unexpected benefit of working smarter has helped companies streamline preparation activities and the post inspection management of identified faults.

This presentation will show how the resultant end-to-end process can be re-engineered so that less effort is required and more benefits are derived, without compromising integrity.

Attendee take-aways will give you a few pointers to benchmark your own business.
