Saudi Aramco oil pipeline leak kills one, injures three

Saudi oil giant Saudi Aramco said that one person has been killed and three others injured as a result of an oil pipeline leak in the east of the country on February 19. The company said in a statement that an emergency response team managed to contain the leak in Abqaiq, 37 miles southwest of the company's main Dharan compound.

UPI reported the company saying that two of the injured contractors have been discharged from a hospital, while one Aramco employee remains in stable condition. As of yet, no details have been given regarding how the other contractor died.

An emergency response team has managed to contain the leak and the company said it would carry out a thorough investigation of the accident.
