Two injured in Pennsylvania steel plant blast

Two people were injured in an explosion on April 27 at the Damascus Steel Casting steel plant in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The local fire service said one of the victims was severely burned in the incident and was flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital, while the other was treated in a local medical facility.

The company is situated in New Brighton and makes alloy steel castings. It has a staff of around 30.
