Hazardex 2018 Conference and Exhibition - Many thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors
15 March 2018
The 2018 Hazardex International Conference and Exhibition took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire, UK on February 28 and March 1. The exhibition element proved successful once again, with a number of exhibitors already signing up for next year's event, despite slightly depleted numbers this year caused by the wintry weather conditions.
The organisers have announced the 2019 event will take place on February 27 and 28.
The 2018 event also included workshops, free seminar content, a networking dinner and awards ceremony, aiming to strengthen and expand the community that looks to the Hazardex website and journal for industry intelligence and information.
Although the main focus of the packed-two day event is the conference, the attached exhibition is also an important element, with leading hazardous area sector companies displaying their products and services to the assembled professional audience.
The 2018 event gave exceptional opportunities for networking, with attendees from government agencies, regulators and certification bodies meeting up with senior engineers and safety managers from the high hazard and process industries to share their experiences.
It included a drinks reception and Gala Dinner at the end of the first day. The 2018 event included the Hazardex Awards, designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector.
We would like to express thanks to the event sponsor, CSA Group, and to all of our exhibitors.
