Hazardex 2018 Conference – Call for papers **closed 15/9/17**

The call for papers has now closed. We are now seeking abstracts for the Hazardex 2018 Conference to be held on February 28 & March 1 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire, UK.

For over 15 years, Hazardex has been providing key industry information and topical discussion on process safety-related topics. The annual Conference and Exhibition brings together those with hazardous area and wider safety responsibilities to review best practice and the latest research in those areas key to managing process safety effectively.

Next year’s conference will focus on specific topics relating to hazardous area and safety issues in the process and manufacturing industries including:
*  Cybersecurity, Process Safety and the Industrial Internet of Things/Industry 4.0
    *Key topic: conference content, workshop & exhibitor village*
*  Asset Management and Maintenance
*  Decommissioning
*  Engineering & Design Safety
*  Fire & Explosion Hazards
*  Functional Safety
*  Human Factors
*  Knowledge & Competence
*  Regulation
*  Risk Assessment and Management

This list is not exclusive. Anyone with an original take on any aspect of hazardous area operations or process safety is encouraged to get in touch.

Please submit abstracts (300 to 400 words) for consideration by September 15, 2017. Successful candidates will be notified by October 13 and full papers should be sent through by November 31.

Abstracts (in Word or PDF format) should be accompanied with the following information:
