Reiss puts the focus on EXTREME Lighting
24 August 2017
Since 1999, the lighting brand REISS has been part of the Zumtobel Group and is now focusing solely on lighting solutions for heavy industrial, hazardous and extreme applications. Pedro Rego, Vice President and Managing Director of REISS, is driving the transformation of the brand’s strategic direction. His aim is to establish REISS internationally as the market leader and recognised expert in extreme lighting.
Reiss understands the complexities of industrial applications and works closely with customers to develop bespoke smart lighting solutions that meet demanding quality standards, are anti-vandal, explosion-proof and resistant to extreme temperatures, moisture and corrosion. Reiss products offer outstanding overall performance in terms of light output, mechanical robustness and reliability, making them absolutely fit for purpose, however arduous the task.
Products include explosion proof luminaires that deal with the prevention of the emergency of explosions and their impact, anti-vandal luminaires that will withstand highly forceful impact whilst continuing to reliably operate during and after an act of vandalism, moisture-proof luminaires and battens for areas where they are exposed to special environmental conditions and tubular luminaires that are robust enough to withstand intensive cleaning procedures with high-pressure/steam cleaners. In addition, Reiss produces tough high bay fittings, LED battens with a long life even at extreme temperatures and surface mounted luminaires that will brighten up any dull, industrial facility.
“REISS begins where others end. We deliver top light performance, high product reliability and superb total cost of ownership. At REISS, we work every day with and for our customers. Using our specialist knowledge we offer the ideal and fit-for-purpose solution for each application, no matter how extreme the conditions are. With a truly global market coverage, we support our customers, before, during and after the product’s installation”, commented Pedro Rego.
