18 December 2017

Corkhill has held several senior management positions in renewable, energy and medical industries. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot Watt University.

"It's rare to find a well-established business, with a strong brand, extensive product range and a culture of customer service excellence. It's even harder to find that package with a passionate, committed work force and a clear focus on innovative product development. S.A. Equip ticks all these boxes,” said Corkhill.

“After many years working with early stage, high growth investment funded companies, I'm really excited to be joining S.A. Equip to lead the operations team and contribute to the future success of the business."

He will be responsible for the operational side of the business including the supply chain, allowing SA Equip to continue focusing on regional growth and becoming the trusted partner for Hazardous Area Equipment globally.

Mike Shimwell, Managing Director for SA Equip, said: “We are delighted that Robin has joined SA Equip. His skills and experience will play an integral role in the ongoing growth and development of our company.”
