C1. Peli Products: Peli 9455 Zone 0 Area Light
The new Peli 9455 Zone 0 Area Light is the first in the range to be certified to ATEX Zone 0. Peli Area lights are maintenance-free rechargeable LED units, offering a wide area of illumination.
Peli recognise that safety is paramount and the 9455Z0 has been designed to offer key safety features; removing hazards from the workplace. The rechargeable battery ensures there are no trailing cables (to create a trip hazard), no emissions and there are no breakable glass components.
The 9455Z0 is compact, easily portable, weighing just 7.3kg and can be set up in seconds, with instant silent light at the touch of a button. A ten hour run time (economy mode) ensures light duration for a full shift. Featuring a category leading light output of 1600 lumens and manufactured with a rugged, water resistant (IP54) body; the 9455Z0 is ideal for heavy, industrial use both on and offshore.

C3. Getac: EX80 fully rugged 8 inch tablet
Getac manufactures rugged mobile devices for use specifically in hazardous environments from oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing and munitions storage environments. The company has just launched its new EX80 fully rugged 8 inch tablet that is intrinsically safe and certified use in the most hazardous and explosive environments and is Zone 0, ATEX, IECEx and UL913-certified.
The device is built to deliver productivity gains for those operating in hazardous and explosive environments and will help digitise processes that, until now, relied on pen and paper. The device incorporates a sealed anti-static exterior with surface temperature control to limit the possibility of explosion due to electrostatic charges, hot surfaces, heat energy or friction.
The Getac EX80 brings automation benefits to an industry that still heavily relies on pen and paper. It will simplify tasks such as asset maintenance, tracking and logging of safety inspections and data capture, additionally new augmented reality concepts will further support more efficient operations. This means workers will benefit from significant productivity, efficiency, data accuracy and security gains, removing the need for time consuming paperwork and reducing downtime.
C4. Gifas Electric: FlashLED EX
The clever feature on this robust rechargeable inspection lamp is that it has an emergency light capability. means that in the event of a power outage it will switch on automatically, thereby making it easy to locate. In addition to this this inspection lamp can be charged from the mains or from a vehicle battery.
C5. ExHeat: MFH Bulldog Portable Fan Heater
The MFH Bulldog Portable Fan Heater is the world's first truly portable hazardous area fan assisted heater.
The Bulldog combines efficient design with simple functionality to provide a portable heating solution for use in hazardous environments where the atmosphere is classified as Zone 1 or 2 (IIA, IIB & H2). Certified to the new EN ISO 80079-36 and EN ISO 80079-37 standards for constructional safety, The Bulldog comes ready to 'plug and play' with the option of fitting a plug, or hard wiring to an isolator unit.
The casing is moulded from a steel reinforced polymer which makes The Bulldog tough and durable. Using adjustable feet, the heater can be angled to allow for flexibility in its positioning and, with its compact design, can be easily stored or transported.
The Bulldog can be used with or without ducting to provide a warm stream of air that can be felt metres away, even in ambient temperatures as low as -40°C and up to +40°C. The heater can optionally be fitted with an additional safety device above and beyond the requirements of the certification.
