Train with the experts for free, at a location convenient to you!

11 May 2018

As a highly respected manufacturer of products and solutions for use in hazardous area control and instrumentation applications, Pepperl+Fuchs is ideally placed to provide knowledge and expertise via our dedicated trainers to those companies and individuals working in potentially explosive hazardous area environments.

We are pleased to announce that during June, we will be running our highly recommended series of Explosion Protection & Functional Safety training seminars in Milton Keynes and Kegworth. These seminars will be for one-day in duration, typically from 9am-5pm (4pm for Functional Safety) and will be completely free of charge!

Explosion Protection (ATEX) Training

The Explosion Protection (ATEX) program covers manufacturer and operator responsibilities from a basic legal perspective, the ignition characteristics of combustible substances and sources of ignition, types of protection, relevant standards (equipment characteristics, installation, inspection and maintenance). In addition, the training also covers dust explosion protection, which is an area we are seeing more and more specific information requests.

These seminars will run on 5th June, at the Hilton, MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes, and the 7th June at the Kegworth Hotel & Conference Centre, Kegworth.

Functional Safety (SIL) Training

EN 61508 sets the basis for the planning, set-up and operation of electrical and electronic protection measures. The goal of the seminar is to give an overview of the fundamental principles and methods, the most important terms and definitions, and how to interpret them.

These seminars will run on 6th June, at the Hilton, MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes, and the 8th June at the Kegworth Hotel & Conference Centre, Kegworth.
