Certified light fixture

The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has certified for sale Dialight Corporation’s SafeSite fixture for replacing conventional 175W to 250W metal-halide and high-pressure sodium light sources with 100W LED technology for hazardous locations. Certification requires that all wiring be done with CSA-approved materials and involves stringent testing.

Designed to meet UL Class 1, Division 2 requirements, the SafeSite design allows for the installation on walls, stanchions and pendant mounts with 1" or _" conduit entrances with an internal splice box for full retrofit capabilities. The fixture provides 10-years-plus of maintenance-free service life, better quality light, higher fixture efficiency and 30% greater energy efficiency than traditional HID light sources.
