The heavy housing for the electronic ballast is mounted within easy reach at a low level and connected by cable to the main housing. Before commissioning, the lamp module is simply plugged in and secured in position in the main housing. Approved for use in hazardous areas Zones 1, 21, 2 and 22. It features an Ex-e enclosure. The Ex-d lamp cassette is plugged onto the main Ex-e enclosure, which can be mounted or replaced without the use of special tools. The Ex-d lamp module can be removed from the light fitting main enclosure and serviced in the maintenance workshop. When the lamp module is removed, an integrated circuit automatically effects the safe disconnection of the lamp contacts.
