Based upon Europe’s most widely used spider crane, the GGR AirLift series, comprising six models, is classified to operate in hazardous Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments.

The AL Series of mini cranes, designed for restricted access and confined working environments, provides the ideal compact lifting solution, easily transportable by land, sea and air. Additionally, all models are designed to be dissembled into component form for helicopter transportation to remote locations, such as oil rigs.

Graeme Riley, Chief Executive Officer of GGR who attended Offshore Europe, commented: "Our new AL Series truly is a world first and Offshore Europe is the perfect setting to officially launch this innovative technology. The AirLift range is specifically engineered to address the problems of working in hazardous environments and is a result of our close collaboration of working with the petrochemical industry".
