HazardEx 2014 Conference: Call for papers, sponsors and exhibitors now open

26 July 2013

The Hazardex 2014 Conference and Exhibition will be staged on 26 & 27 February 2014 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Runcorn, Cheshire. We recently issued a call for papers and would welcome submissions from hazardous area engineers, safety managers and others involved in the sector.

This is a must-attend event for all involved in hazardous area safety, both from the UK and around the world. The last edition in 2012 attracted 100 senior industry delegates to the conference and a further 300 to the exhibition.

The HSE has committed to sending a high-ranking manager to present at the event, and we will unveil further key speakers over the coming weeks; from industry, regulatory agencies and other specialist organisations.

In 2014 we will have several smaller rooms available, and we plan to run workshops and break-out sessions over the two days.

Hazardex 2014 will offer exceptional opportunities for networking, at the conference and exhibition, but also at the popular awards evening and dinner at the end of the first day.

The venue has good road, rail and air connections and is situated at the heart of an area in north-western England with a number of COMAH high-hazard sites.

Contact Russell Goater on +44 (0) 1732 359990 or email russell.goater@imlgroup.co.uk for paper submission guidelines and other details for speakers.

Bookings for sponsors, exhibitors and delegates are also now being taken.
