Five people have been killed in an explosion in a plant in China’s northeastern Liaoning Province, local authorities said. The explosion occurred on September 13 in a small private chemical plant in the Dongzhou District of Fushun City, when workers of the factory were checking the contents of tanks, officials said.
The blast caused a fire which was later brought under control, Xinhua reported. An investigation into the cause of the blast has reportedly been started.
