According to the EFE news agency, four people were injured in an explosion at a power plant in the eastern Mexican state of Hidalgo on November 11. The state-owned utility CFE said in a statement that the injured, contractors from the company ICMOSA,were taken immediately for medical attention and they are out of danger.

The statement said the incident occurred in the area of the Unit 5 burners of the Francisco Perez Rios Thermoelectric Center in the municipality of Tula. The incident caused no effect on the operation of the plant, which is operating normally, CFE said.
