Scotland sawmill blast injures seven

A fire at the James Jones sawmill on the Greshop Industrial Estate in Forres, Moray, was being tackled by emergency services when a silo exploded at the back of the mill. The silo is thought to have contained wood dust and chippings,

Seven people were injured in the blast, including firefighters, and one of the victims, thought to be a company employee, was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The causes of the April 24 blast are currently  under investigation.
