Showers & Eyebaths emergency safety tank showers are widely used throughout industry and are particularly popular where there is no convenient mains water supply. With models ranging from 1200 litres up to 2500 litres, tepid water can be guaranteed for up to 30 minutes drenching time, which is double the recommended duration required in the internationally accepted ANSI Z 358.1 2009 standard. At shower and eyebaths we don’t just meet standards, we exceed them!
We also manufacture a wide range of safety showers that are portable and corrosion resistant - suitable for use indoors and outside. There is a model for every type and location of working environment and all are built to the highest standards for optimum performance and reliability.
For large sites and remote locations we have developed a variety of solutions. Mobile bowser showers with capacities of 1200 or 2000 litres can be filled with potable water by hose then towed to the desired location. The electrical pump and thermostat controlled heater for maintaining a safe water temperature can be powered from the mains or a portable generator. These are available for hire or to buy and are popular for use in the inhospitable oil and gas fields. The units can be supplied complete with ATEX equipment suitable for zones 1 and 2.
