Hazardous area services provider ATEC Group releases online courses
05 March 2015
ATEC today officially inaugurated its new e-learning training platform. Currently, ATEC's e-learning offerings include 8 different modules, highlighted by courses in CE Markings, Introductions to EC Directives, and Introductions to IEC Ex.
The e-learning option is the latest addition to ATEC's Training Academy worldwide with its current training centers set up in Houston, Texas, covering North & South America, Dubai and Singapore, covering Asia-Pacific. ATEC Training academy provides competency training courses for IEC, NEC, and AS/NZS standards. Each one of ATEC's locations in Houston, Singapore, and Dubai are licensed CompEx training centers. CompEx is the Leading International Competency and Assessment Certification Scheme for electrotechnical and mechanical practitioners working in Explosive Atmospheres.
“Currently, we are the only company that provides competency training to all 3 major industry standards, NEC, IEC & AZ/NZS via our training schools in Houston, TX, Singapore, and now Dubai. Atec has become the “go-to” company for clients that work in the world of potentially explosive atmospheres. The exciting addition of the e-learning platform is in line with our growth and development plans." advises Tommy Sutherland, Managing Director.
With 24/7, on-demand accessibility and self-paced/self-directed training, the e-learning platform allows a greater number of people to attend classes and geographical barriers are eliminated as the training is available to anyone with internet access. The e-learning option also eliminates travel time and associated costs with attending a traditional course at a specific location.
