Crowcon Tetra:3 - Three years of protection for the price of two

Crowcon has upgraded the Tetra:3 (T3) portable multigas monitor by including a 3-year oxygen sensor as standard, whilst keeping the same price as the earlier version which offers a two-year oxygen sensor.
“By extending the operational lifetime of the oxygen sensors by 50% we are providing even greater value to customers who use the T3 in demanding environments such as the industrial, water, telecoms, food, brewing or the hydrocarbons sectors,” explains Crowcon’s Richard Dunn, Portable Products Manager. “In these working conditions, the T3’s single-button operation, small size and clear top-mounted display provide a high level of protection combined with easy operation which makes it so attractive to customers and their employees.”
Anyone placing orders with Crowcon for the T3 portable multigas monitors automatically receive the new version of the T3 detector with the three-year oxygen sensor. The part numbers for the two-year version (beginning T3R-01, -02, or -03) will automatically be upgraded to the three-year versions with part numbers (that begin TR3-06, -07, or -08).
The T3 is available in versions which can detect 3 or 4 different gases simultaneously by continuously monitoring for the presence of flammable methane (CH4) and oxygen (O2) as well as for the toxic and flammable hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and/or carbon monoxide (CO).
A lithium-ion battery provides over 12 hours of continuous operation from a single charge with the optional universal in-vehicle charger or drop-in charger. To ensure safe operation, the T3 alerts users with a 30-day countdown warning to the calibration due date.
Designed for use in harsh environments, theT3 is fitted with a 95dBA audible alarm, an extremely bright red/blue visual warning LED, and a vibration alert. Despite being very compact and lightweight, the T3 withstands challenging operating conditions due to its shatterproof housing with rubber over-moulding and IP67-sealing against water and dust resistance.
