Nebraska fuel depot explosion injures seven

An explosion and fire at a Nebraska petroleum distribution depot has injured seven, with two said by local media to be in a critical condition. The incident took place at Sapp Brothers Petroleum in West Point, about 70 miles northwest of Omaha. There is as yet no indication as to what caused the blast.

The explosion and fire caused a large smoke column to rise over the neighbourhood, local media said.
