Honeywell has appointed Edwin van den Maagdenberg to vice president and general manager for Honeywell Process Solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Van den Maagdenberg was formerly regional general manager for Process Solutions in Northern Europe. Discrete-input transmitters can help decrease costs and increase efficiency (28 May 2009)
Honeywell has added two discrete-input transmitters to its family of XYR 6000 wireless devices. The STXW 500 and the STTW 401 transmitters can convert any measurement device with a contact-closure switch input into a wireless input, enabling manufacturers to decrease costs and improve efficiency by wirelessly monitoring more processes at their plants. read more...
