Electric arc protection from head to toe (02 October 2009)
PWG has launched a high energy arc kit made from Nomex. The kit, with Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) >40 cal/cm2 and certified to IEC 61482-1-1 and IEC 61482-1-2 class 2, consists of a jacket, trousers, hood and gloves that can be used in conjunction with respiratory equipment. read more...

75% reduction rate of accidental burn injury (26 August 2008)
The use of heat and flame protective clothing made of DuPont Nomex has helped to dramatically reduce the rate of accidental burn injury over a four year period at a large chemical plant in South-West Germany. Up until 2003, each year between 20 and 25 accidents involving burns or scalds to arms and upper body areas had affected employees at the Degussa plant of Roehm, SW Germany. read more...

Coverall meets demanding comfort requirements (21 July 2008)
The Category III, Type 5 and 6 protective garment, launched by DuPont, features a front and sleeves made entirely from Tyvek fabric and a back panel made of the company’s finely engineered advanced composite technology (ACT) fabric.
