The signs are promising for new poster
The phasing out of the current 'Health and Safety Law Poster', which has been a familiar sight in every type of workplace across the UK for more than 10 years, is happening faster than expected with many organisations already choosing to display the brand new version. Workplace equipment provider Slingsby is one of the first companies to start selling the new poster and is already being inundated with orders for it. Intrinsically safe portable multi-gas detector
Crowcon has expanded the capabilities of its Tetra:3 (T3) personal multi-gas detector with three more toxic gas sensors: ozone (O3), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and ammonia (NH3). This complements the existing sensor range which includes flammable gases, oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), and carbon monoxide (CO). The sensors widen the applications for the T3 to include the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage processing industries, as well as water and wastewater treatment facilities. Featuring a top-mount display and the capacity to detect up to four gases at once, the T3 is designed for use in the most demanding industrial environments, including confined space work. It features intuitive, single button operation, essential...

Thermal imager sees more IR
A cooled, thermal imager fusing the 1.3 to 5.5µ range can see both medium and short wave IR thermal emissions simultaneously. This feature range allows the system to see long distances through thick fog, snow, heavy rain, etc. It utilises a 320 x 240 high performance InSb, FPA detector, powerful electronic processor and proprietary software algorithms. The ability to merge short and medium wave IR gives more depth and information to the thermal image stream to provide clear images of buildings, ground data and other visual data enabling full situation awareness of the environment. The system is extremely sensitive with a NETD down to 0.005ºC ensuring stunning detail. The system has a very high acquisition rate up to 300...
