Two firefighters were injured in an explosion and fire at a County Cork sawmill. The fire broke out at Palfab sawmill, owned by the GP Wood Company, outside Lissarda near Macroom on July 13. A series of explosions at a chemical plant in China’s Sichuan Province resulted in 19 deaths and another 12 injured on July 12.
