03 November 2015

The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) will take place on 9 – 12 November 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Hosted by ADNOC in the energy capital Abu Dhabi, ADIPEC is projected to attract 85,000 attendees across the four days of the show, creating an ideal platform for petroleum professionals worldwide to drive and support innovation within the industry.

The ADIPEC Exhibition will include 2,000 exhibitors over 100,000 gross sq.m. of exhibition space, including the newly added Offshore & Marine exhibition in Hall 15. There will be 23 national pavilions, 15 NOCs and 15 IOCs, including for the first time pavilions from Saudi Arabia, Japan and Ireland.

There were 1,868 exhibiting companies at ADIPEC 2014, itself a 37% rise on 2013. In 2014, ADIPEC generated over US $8.5 bn worth of contracts in 4 days.

The ADIPEC Conference will take place under the theme of ‘ Innovation & Sustainability in a New Energy World’, with dmg events and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as conference organisers.

The comprehensive programme will provide the very best technical insights from around the world as leading international and regional decision makers from both technical and non-technical functions with the Oil & Gas industry come together to set the agenda for meeting global energy demand.

The event will also feature the ADIPEC Awards, which celebrate achievement and accomplishment in the oil & gas industry and recognise the leading companies, individuals, initiatives, projects and technologies that have displayed a level of excellence within the MENA region.

ADIPEC will also feature a VIP Programme, taking place 9 - 12 November, at the Middle East Petroleum Club in ADNEC, which provides exclusive keynote speakers and panel discussions for all members.

The VIP Programme Keynote Speaker will be Dr Daniel Yergin, the Pulitzer prize winning author and leading authority on energy.

Dr Yergin serves on the U.S. Secretary of Energy Advisory Board and chaired the US Department of Energy's Task Force on Strategic Energy Research and Development.  He is a member of the Advisory Board's subcommittee that issued its report on shale gas at the request of President Obama.

New for 2015 - Offshore & marine exhibition space

ADIPEC 2015 will be showcasing offshore, subsea and marine products and services within a specially created area providing water access, moorings and quayside exhibition space, just 100m from the main exhibition atrium.

This will include Ships, Boats & Vessels, Floating Production Systems, HSE Marine Equipment & Services, Pump Equipment & Services, Salvage, Deep Sea Diving, Oceanography & Mapping, and Ports & facilities.

These conferences and popular features, when combined with the exhibition, establish ADIPEC as the largest oil and gas event in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

“ADIPEC is a showcase for innovation in the hydrocarbon industry, both regionally and worldwide. Technology and strategies are evolving, products and services developing even as we speak. ADIPEC provides a platform for collaborating, sharing and partnering as we maximize our joint resources and expertise.” - Mr Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Strategy & Coordination Director, ADNOC and Chairman, ADIPEC 2015.

ADIPEC 2016 will run from 7 to 10 November - a date for your 2016 diaries.
