TBA’s Graphene Coatings are Clearly Conductive!

TBA Protective Solutions new permanently conductive graphene hybrid coatings provide effective static elimination for electronics safe handling areas and explosive atmospheres. Fully compliant with BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 and ATEX, the coatings contain carbon nanotubes and graphene and offers an excellent alternative to finite ITO coating.
Giving light transmission of around 85% and with a surface resistivity of ?107 ohms/sq ECP 573/JSF180/4124 acrylic coating, available in paint or aerosol form (ECP 592), can be applied to in-situ light fittings, windows, clear covers and lids to provide a permanently conductive surface.
For more flexible surfaces made of polyurethane, PVC and rubbers, such as touch screen monitors and flexible keypads typically used in hospitals and oil rigs, ECP 574/JSF181/4125 clear flexible polyurethane coating eliminates static in sensitive areas providing a safe working area.
For flooring applications ECP 575/JSF182/182 water based epoxy gives excellent mechanical properties which will withstand abrasion and impact as well as good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including oils, fats, solvents, acids and alkalis. The permanently conductive paint can be used in the electronics, petrol and chemical industries, water treatment plants and hospitals. The paint is particularly suited to ATEX environments such as oil rigs, sewers, mines and flour mills where the risk of explosion through static spark is high.
