ATEX certification for Industrial Pressure Indicators

Ametek Calibration Instruments has announced that the Jofra range of IPI Industrial Pressure Indicators is now ATEX and CSA certified.
IPI can be used as a calibration reference or in applications where high accuracy pressure measurement is required. This certification will allow the IPI to be used in any industry where there is a risk of flammable gases.

An RS232 interface is supplied as standard which can be used for configuration, calibration and to transfer measurement data from the gauge. It enables the Jofra IPI to be used as a pressure reference with Jofracal software, which in turn provides control of a complete calibration procedure, storage of results and a calibration audit trail through hard-copy certificates.

Once the gauge is configured, settings can be locked and password protected to prevent unauthorised changes to configuration.
