Weg appoints Regional Director for Europe

WEG has appointed Gustavo Iensen as Regional Director for Europe. A longstanding member of the WEG team having started his employment with the company in 1981, Gustavo will bring his considerable experience and expertise to the region to drive growth and cement Weg’s position as one of the leading systems providers.

Plans to further enhance our logistics offering and sales team will allow us to continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Gustavo’s 27 years of experience with Weg, ten years of which have been with the European region, span a number of areas from Quality Control to Product Engineering. Since 1996 he has worked within external sales, his most recent position being Regional Director of the Asian market, a region that has experienced extraordinary growth, particularly in China.
Gustavo has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Business Administration.
