Robust and extremely flat

26 May 2020

The new LED-steep roof light fittings from SCHUCH for hazardous area zones 2/22 and 1/21. A robust, extremely flat sheet steel housing without external clips and latches as well as a frameless tempered safety glass with internal central locking system are the external characteristics of the new explosion protected steep roof light fittings series.

Their inner values are also excellent. Here they score with frosted LED covers that protect the LED modules and lead to a homogeneous illumination with an excellent glare limitation, a high colour rendering index CRI > 80 (according to the workplace guide lines suitable for nearly all plant locations) and the on-site replaceable ECG and reflector with LED-modules (by qualified personal). Swivel arm mounting accessories and mounting frames, which can be easily retrofitted, also offer maximum flexibility and round off the positive overall picture of these series.

The nD822 series can be used in hazardous areas 2 (gas) and 22 (dust). These include, for example, clean rooms, spray booths and paint shops. Use in paint booths is also possible (LABS-tested according to VDMA 24364-C2-L). Thanks to the innovative encapsulated LED modules with high transmission rate in the e821, these light fittings can even be used in areas of zones 1 (gas) and 21 (dust). Both LED-steep roof light fittings are available in two lengths and four luminous flux versions between 4,000lm and 11,500lm. With luminous efficacy up to 155 lm/W the light fittings are highly efficient and powerful and also optionally available in special versions in which they have for example an operating device with DALI interface for dimming (DIMD), are suitable for higher ambient temperatures, etc.

Here you can find more information about the e821 and nD822.
