Range includes ATEX certified enclosures

Rittal has tested its KEL enclosures to meet the ATEX product directive for applications in zone 1 and zone 2. The certified product range covers stainless-steel wall enclosures with hinged doors, wall boxes with
screwed down lids and GRP enclosures with graphite added to cut down on static. Empty enclosures are held in stock and populated ones are offered as terminal boxes on special lead times.

The ATEX product directive, which applies to manufacturers of equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, ensures that equipment is appropriate to the hazardous area zones in which it is to be used.
