ePC-Series for hazardous locations

Nematron has launched the ePC-Series of Industrial Computers with Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous Location Rating. With an Ultra-thin profile and support for Celeron M and Core Duo performance the ePC is ideal for demanding HMI/SCADA applications.

There are currently three display sizes in the series 15", 17", and 19", all are available with 5-wire Analogue Resistive touch-screens and IP65/NEMA front panel environmental protection. With an ultra-thin panel depth of less than 75mm (3.0") on the 15" unit.

The American manufactured ePC-Series computers include 15" (ePC1500) XGA, 17" (ePC1700) SXGA, and a 19" (ePC1900) SXGA LCD version. All versions are standard with 100-240 VAC input power supplies, have NEMA 4/4x/12 panel mountable front panels, and are less than 75mm (3.0") deep when panel mounted. Stainless Steel front panels, Solid State non-rotating hard drives, and 24 Volt DC input power are available options for all three. Along with a Compact Flash socket as standard the ePC has an extensive range of I/O ports which include; two 10/100/1000 Ethernet , one RS-422/485, two RS-232, four USB 2.0, PS/2, and even an external Video connection that supports dual display with extended desktop. In addition the SATA hard drive is designed with a socket connection for quick and easy removal.
