Preventing hose line accidents with whipchecks

When hose lines separate unintentionally, a whipcheck will stop the hose from whipping under the sudden release of energy.
Action Sealitite offer two options – the Whipcheck or the Model range. Both consist of a strong, galvanised steel cable which prevents hose whip, with easily fitted spring loaded loops that grip the hose firmly.

The larger safety product is 1/8” for hoses of ½” to 1¼” outside diameter, with a breaking strain of 588kg. The other option is ¼” for hoses 1½” to 3” outside diameter. This product has a breaking strain of 2350kg.
