Fortress presented with Queen’s Award for International Trade
The Queen’s Award recognises Fortress’ continuous growth in export sales sustained over the last six years and the award was presented by the Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands, David Bradnock MBE.
Fortress’ success over the last several years has resulted in the need for a larger, improved manufacturing building. Not far from its old HQ, Fortress just moved in to the 2800 sq m building, featuring a contemporary two storey office building and steel framed production warehouse that will improve working conditions and increase space necessary for the fast growing business.
Managing Director Mike Golding said: “The move to our new headquarters is one of the major milestones in the transformation of the Fortress business from a small Black Country engineering company to a global supplier of industrial interlocking products. And what better way to celebrate than to receive the Queen’s Award as recognition of our achievements.”
