Hong Kong International airport gets refuelled

13 September 2008

Airport equipment supplier, Cavotec Dabico, has won a deal to supply ten refuelling pit systems and related material to Hong Kong International airport. The deal includes ten fuel hydrants and three vault access pit assemblies. Deliveries are due to be made in September.

The Dabico Group designs and manufactures in-ground airport supply systems that provide safe and efficient delivery of aviation fuel and utilities to all types of commercial and military aircraft. Over the past 40 years, Dabico has supplied these systems to aircraft manufacturers, airlines and airports all over the world. Cavotec MSL acquired Dabico in April.

“We are especially pleased to secure this order, having done so in the face of some fierce local competition. Proof, we feel, that our systems are safe, reliable, easy to use, and represent the best value on the market,” said Bill Fischer, president of Cavotec Dabico US.
