Dome pressure regulators are BAM approved

05 September 2008

737LE dome pressure regulators from Witt have been granted BAM safety certification by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). The 737LE is used as a primary pressure regulator in pipeline systems to ensure a consistent pressure level regardless of the fluctuations in the flow of gas and is ideal for use where high flow rates up to 650m3/hr with low pressure drops are found.

The product is designed for mounting in pipes for burner and mixing applications and is used in combination with a pilot pressure regulator to adjust the required outlet pressure. It can be used with most technical gases.

The benefits of using this type of pressure regulator include the ability to work with inlet pressures up to maximum 200bar. The regulator can also regulate the outlet pressure between 100mbar – 60 bar. It can handle a high flow rate and has integrated pilot pressure and pressure gauge connections. Remote control is also possible using an external pilot pressure regulator, whether this is electronically or mechanically controlled.
