Are CO2 Meters becoming mandatory?
13 January 2022
Minuscule drops can spread Coronavirus. Every human produces these drops, and when somebody is infected, these tiny minuscule drops can carry the virus and infect other humans when inhaled. In closed area's where ventilation is limited, these drops (aerosols) tend to last longer, increasing the risk of infection. GMS Instruments supplies a CE-approved, FCC-approved CO2 meter directly from stock.
Please be aware that due to popular demand, the stock is limited. With our CO2 meter, you can quickly check:
- Indoor CO2 levels (400 - 5000 ppm)
- Set the alarm at 800 ppm or above
- Automatic calibrations
- built-in temperature + humidity meter
- Plug-and-play
This CO2 meter is made for indoor applications such as office buildings, schools, conference rooms, hospitals, warehouses, etc. With the Carbon Dioxide meter, you can detect when ventilation in a room is necessary to prevent aerosols from spreading through the room. The large and easy to read LCD shows you the CO2 level in ppm. The CO2 meter helps you improve the overall air quality and prevent potentially COVID-19 from spreading. The automatic calibration function on the meter makes the device as goods as maintenance-free. When turned on for the first time, a 24-hours calibration cycle will be started.
Scientists and experts pledge for more awareness and governmental regulation on ventilation in indoor areas to limit the chances of the coronavirus from spreading. This resulted, among other things, in new rules in Belgium, which made the usage of CO2 meters mandatory and made ventilation become one of the basic rules in The Netherlands. So prepare your company, office, warehouse, showroom or conference room for future regulations and covid-19 with reliable and accurate CO2 meters.
