Manual motor starter up to 16 A fits where others don’t

03 September 2008

The manual motor starter GHG 635-1 from Cooper Crouse-Hinds GmbH is barely 1 kg in weight and the volume is just half that of its competitors. This compact, welded IP 66 enclosure holds as much technology as the conventional ‘space-wasters’.

This component with pre-wired connection leads can be installed quickly and safely, even in places that are not easily accessible. This is also made possible by the exterior fixing points and the matching apparatus holder. The switch with the matching plug-in fixings simply has to be fitted onto it. This saves an enormous amount of money, time and effort. If you want an even faster solution, a version that can be connected without tools featuring an integrated eXLink connector is also available. This can even be replaced during operation.

To protect the motor against unintentional switching operations, the GHG 635-1 is designed with a padlocking facility for standard padlocks up to 6.3 mm in diameter.
