13 August 2008
This lightweight torchlight features a micro Xenon incandescent lamp, giving off a beam of white light with a luminous intensity of 1 lux and measuring 80 cm in diameter, even at a distance of 15 m. The maximum axial luminous intensity of the Stabex mini II is >4000 cd. Power is supplied by 2 dry cells that operate for ca. 8 hours.
To switch it on and off, simply turn the headpiece. The light beam can be adjusted by turning the headpiece further. Thanks to the non-slip structure of the surface of the handle, this can be done with one hand, even when wearing safety gloves; giving more freedom and safety. When it is no longer needed, the wide clip made of stainless steel, means it can be stowed safely in a pocket or in the holder.
This torchlight has been certified to ATEX for use in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. The black housing in the degree of protection IP66 is made of aluminium and polyester with a scratchproof mineral glass lens and is almost impervious to harsh environmental conditions.
