Safety seal manufacturer Roxtec strengthens team with new Power and Process Technical Sales Advisor

16 January 2023

Cable and pipe seal manufacturer Roxtec UK has appointed Dayna Ferguson as Inside Technical Sales Advisor as it looks for further growth in its power and process division.

In her new role Dayna will provide technical support to the division’s sales team to help it deliver projects and seek out future business opportunities.

Dayna joins Greater Manchester-based Roxtec UK after spending several years as project specialist for a multi-national business providing technology to the construction and engineering industry.

Her appointment comes as Roxtec is looking ahead to further growth in the power and process sectors.

Roxtec’s cable and pipe seals are found widely in a range of process industries, including mining and metals, the onshore oil, gas and petrochemical sectors as well as pulp and paper plants.

The business is also playing a growing role in energy transition, working on renewable hybrid projects as well as energy storage and balancing of transmission and distribution grids. The company is also active in the wind, solar and nuclear power sectors.

Its cable and pipe seals are used to protect people and assets from multiple hazards including fire, flooding, the risk of explosion and electromagnetic disturbances. Key benefits include durability, reliability and flexibility.

Roxtec cable entry seals are ideal for field-based terminal boxes, electric heat trace cabinets, remote I/O cabinets, DCS/PLC cabinets and other high cable density applications in harsh environments.

Dayna said: “What attracted me to Roxtec was its innovation, how it works hard as a business to find solutions for complex projects its customers are involved with and the whole range of products it offers.

“The power and process division is working at the cutting edge of the renewable energy sector and that is an exciting place to be.

“My role is all about giving technical support to the team as it works to deliver projects, as well as looking at future opportunities. I’m really looking forward to developing the role and playing my part in the future growth of the division.”

Roxtec entered the marketplace in 1990 and is now active in more than 80 markets worldwide. The British subsidiary of the £173million Swedish group has a turnover of more than £6million and a team of 20 based at its Waterfold Business Park head office in Bury.
