Expo has been supplying the offshore service industry for many years with a solution to protect not only the Slip Ring but also the electrical ‘J” boxes by purging the Separate enclosure in Series. This reduces the cost by simplifying the overall installation for the underwater “Remote-Operated Vehicle” industry.

The purge system used is the MiniPurge continuous flow, which is ATEX, FM & cULus certified for Zone 1 or 2 or Class I, Div 1 or 2 locations. The complete assembly is approved with an Expo ‘Manufacturer Declaration of Conformity’ certificate.
