Explosion Proof ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 iPad Mini 6

Atexxo Manufacturing has released an Apple iPad mini 6 which is suitable for use in Zone 1 hazardous locations. The explosion proof iPads are originally manufactured by Apple then converted and certified according to the ATEX and IECEx directives by Atexxo Manufacturing. This makes the ATEX/IECEx Tablets suited for safe use in gas/vapour Zone 1 hazardous areas. Sim-card can be installed by the end-user themselves. The devices are suited for Apple’s (open) Business Manager Program.

Certified for North America / Canada Class I Zone 1 & Division 2

All features of the original product are preserved, except for the fingerprint scanner.

The ATEX/IECEx iPad mini of the 6th generation comes with an aluminium case finish. The ATEX/IECEx iPads are suitable for use in extreme demanding environments. They are available in both 64gb and 256gb versions.

Beside safe use as a tablet computer, all versions are excellent for use as an explosion proof camera or RFID scanner. For Middle East countries, versions with blocked cameras are available.
