The New LRP Series sets new standards in flexibility

Pepperl+Fuchs unveils a new series of local control units made of plastic material for use in hazardous areas 1/21 and 2/22. The products for electrical explosion protection, developed with Ex db eb protection types, feature a modern design, rapid availability, and high resistance. In addition to many standard variants, three compact and two flexible sizes are available for customized configuration, with up to five operating elements in one unit.
The LRP local control unit series
The series is a completely new development and features a modern, lightweight, and durable design, along with a sophisticated range of enclosures for installing a wide range of operating elements. A large selection of pre-configured products is available straight from stock.
Even custom configurations can be shipped quickly. With an internal solution configurator, our sales representatives can assemble the solution with customers in just a few clicks. The configurator immediately compiles material lists and technical drawings, including technical specifications. After customer approval, the order immediately goes into production.
Flexible sizes combined with many useful features
To ensure that the perfect solution can always be found, Pepperl+Fuchs offers five different sizes. In addition to three compact sizes for the use of one to three operating elements, two further flexible sizes have been developed. These are ideal for the integration of larger operating elements such as ammeters and voltmeters. The highlight, however, is the option to equip a compact unit with five operating elements. Three different label sizes allow almost any solution to be labelled to suit customer specifications.
The sophisticated housing design simplifies on-site operation. In addition to the option of placing two fittings on the bottom, an optimally positioned and removable grounding point ensures easy wiring.
