Pepperl+Fuchs is pleased to announce that during November, it will be running its highly recommended series of Explosion Protection, Advanced Explosion Protection & Functional Safety training seminars in Oxford. These seminars will be for one day in duration, typically from 9am-4pm and will be completely free of charge!

Explosion Protection (ATEX) Training

The Explosion Protection (ATEX) program covers manufacturer and operator responsibilities from a basic legal perspective, the ignition characteristics of combustible substances and sources of ignition, types of protection, relevant standards (equipment characteristics, installation, inspection and maintenance). In addition, the training also covers dust explosion protection, which is an area we are seeing more and more specific information requests. This seminar will run on the 14th November at the Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XP.

Advanced Explosion Protection Training

The Advanced seminar covers EU directives, Relevant standards, Qualification of personnel Electrical Installations, Static Electricity and Intrinsic Safety. This seminar will run on the 15th November at the Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XP.

Functional Safety (SIL) Training

EN 61508 sets the basis for the planning, set-up and operation of electrical and electronic protection measures. The goal of the seminar is to give an overview of the fundamental principles and methods, the most important terms and definitions, and how to interpret them.  This seminar will run on the 16th November at the Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XP.
