Long life lamps available for oil and gas industry

Greenstock has launched a range of lamps for oil and gas industry applications.
The Aura Super Ex long life fluorescent tube, is designed with a single pin cap to prevent the danger of electrical arcing. The lamps have a service life of 36,000 hours, and come in 18W, 36W and 58W versions.
The Aura Ultimate T8 lamp, a fluorescent tube has a life of 70,000 hours making it by far the longest life fluorescent tube available in the world.

The Ultimate T8 lamp has Aura’s patented cathode shield construction and inside protection layer to produce 10% to 12% more light output and better lumen maintenance than standard fluorescent lamps. It has a high colour rendering index of Ra85 and comes in 18W, 30W, 36W, 38W and 58W versions.
The Aura long life high pressure sodium (HPS) lamp is a 48,000 hour life based on a 12-hour switching cycle. The Aura HPS lamps come in coated ellipsoidal and clear tubular types and in seven wattages from 50W to 600W. They have a colour temperature of 2100K and colour render index of Ra25. Two super burners and an additive ceramic tube are responsible for significantly extending lamp life.
