GHS symbol range
03 March 2009
A United Nations scheme designed to ensure instant recognition and safe handling of chemicals is to be introduced in 2010. Brady is helping companies to minimise disruption and stay ahead of legislation by launching a range of hardwearing, go-anywhere, ready to use labels that conform to the regulations.

GHS symbol range
The 'GHS' (Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) is designed to provide a single method to identify and label all chemicals across the world maximising the safe handling, transportation and disposal of all chemicals, and will replace the many different systems and classifications currently in use across the world. The symbols are available as a complete range in both roll and card format and also as additional downloadable software for Brady's range of printers.
All of the GHS labels are made from high-quality, durable B-7541 and add to the wide range of hazardous material identification already available within the Brady portfolio.
Existing users of Brady Markware can simply download a patch directly into the Markware Directory to access the new symbols which are within an easy to recognise diamond shape.
