SLFE projectors

Cortem has introduced a range of SLFE projectors, which are suitable for installation both indoor and outdoor, in areas at risk of explosion due to the presence of flammable gas and dusts.
The lamp can be replaced through a lateral door, instead of the frontal glass; the maintenance personnel will therefore work easily, avoiding removing and replacing many screws.

In spite of very resistant and reliable construction materials, such as aluminum alloy UNI 4514, stainless steel AISI 316Land tempered glass, the projector weight and size are small; as a consequence, the equipment is resistant as an Exd product, but easy to install and maintain as an industrial weatherproof product.

Mercury vapour, high pressure sodium and metal halide lamps up to 400W can be installed in the projector.
The SLFE projector is suitable for safe use in zone 1 and 2 in presence of gas, vapours and mists, and also in zones 21 and 22, for safe use in presence of flammable dusts.
