Rugged thermal imager

01 May 2009

Fluke has introduced two rugged entry-level thermal imager models. Just point and shoot to capture the full picture, showing the hotspots that warn of imminent equipment failure.

The 160 x 120 resolution shows all the essential details. That greatly increases the speed of inspecting, repairing and verifying electrical and (electro)mechanical equipment. It also helps extend equipment lifetime and avoid electrical fires.

The Ti9 (-20 to +250 degrees C) is aimed at the electrical inspections and preventative maintenance markets. The TiRx (-20 to +100 degrees C)is aimed at building inspection and maintenance and HVAC markets.

Rugged and easy to use, rated to IP54, both models resist dust and water and withstands a drop test of 2 metres. And you can upgrade it with IR-Fusion to convert it to a full-featured Fluke Ti thermal imager with advanced analysis and reporting.
